Marmora SnoFest Race Rules and Procedures For the Novice Race

(1)   This is a 2 km race for novice mushers with a 2 Dog team.

(2)   Rules of Conduct shall be the same as sled dog Association rules.

(3)   Single starts with a 2 min. Intervals between teams

(4)   Race Requires a Minimum of 10 Entrants

(5)   No Equipment will be required on the sled, but the sled must conform to normal standards.

(6)   All entrants must be over 12 years of age as of Jan.1st of the current year.

(7)   Anyone 16 years of age or older must be willing to swear an affidavit that this is his/her 1st year racing.

(8)   Judging shall be made on a time basis only.

(9)   All Minors must have parent / guardian written consent.

(10) SnoFest Committee hold the right to wave minimum entries.
