Doug Mitchell reported he has been having trouble getting people together so will wait to hold a

meeting after Christmas.

. Promotional Material

Robert Young said material has been distributed to stores.  He showed two of the caps available. 

He will get a price on hats with ear flaps.

. Banquet - report by June Vilneff

That June Vilneff book "The Harts" for 1/2 hour entertainment at Snofest Banquet.

That eight guests be invited for the Snofest Banquet (Reeve, MP, MPP, Hastings County Warden

and their partners). Carried

Donations - Vera Wylie showed articles she had collected as donations.  Doug Mitchell took them

home.

NEW BUSINESS

. Santa Claus Parade -  The Chair expressed appreciation to all who helped with the Snofest float and

participated in the parade.

. Weight Pull Event - Jerry and Linda Roy, from the Marmora Kennel Club, said they would help with

this event.  Brian Galloway assured them there are four classes now and six people will be needed to

help.

. Children's event -

Brian Galloway will get information from a fellow who provides rides in Trenton.

. Chili Contest

Cathie Jones will hold this event in the "Doo Wop" Restaurant.

. Accommodations

Steve Bartlett, from Wingfield, said they could accommodate a large number of the mushers.  He

also offered to assist in any way he can at Snofest Weekend.

All Accommodations are to be listed on the web site.

. Skate-a-thon

Bernie Donaldson will look after this event.

. Planning and Procedural Meeting will be held after Snofest to deal with recommendations in John

Langley's report.
