that minutes of June 11, 2007 meeting be accepted as circulated Carried
BUSINESS FROM MINUTES
Banquet - June Vilneff reported the cost for 2008 would be each.
MOTION by Barbara Fisher, seconded by Brian Galloway
that servings of pork and beef would be available at the 2008 Snofest Banquet. Carried
Banquet Entertainment - Sue Korver said she had spoken to the Hastings Childrenıs Choir leader and the Snofest Committee is welcome to attend any Tuesday evening to hear them.
Sponsors/Donators: Letters have not been sent out yet and hopefully Veraıs phone # and address have been added to each letter.
Web Site - Photos from Car Show have been added. Sue Korver agreed to type up Race Results so they can be posted on the Site.
Flea Market/Car Show - Did not do that well. Lengthy discussion took place suggesting other ways of raising funds. Bonnie Danes agreed to look into insurance coverage by the Municipality if a beer tent is set up by the Snofest Committee at an event.
LıAmable - Barbara Fisher reported that the mushers use the hall for water and washrooms and some sleep there. It was agreed food not be provided at LıAmable.
Marmora Fair - It was decided Snofest should be there Sunday and Monday and it was hoped Gail Taylor would book that time.
Buttons - two buttons were displayed for a decision MOTION by Vera Wylie, seconded by June Vilneff
that the darker colour be chosen for the 2008 Snofest and that Stew Fisher order 500 right away.

TREASURY REPORT - 0
CORRESPONDENCE - Sue Korverıs May 16 letter to the local Municipality re posting signs in Marmora Village has still not yet received a reply.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Races - Brian Galloway reported Abby Brunton will not be available to be
2008 MC. Brian will check with Tim McEwen to see if he is available.
Stew Fisher said Jonny Roofer wants to be included in Sunday award ceremony.
It was suggested they come to next meeting to discuss the situation since the Skijorrers usually leave Saturday.
Promotional Material - Robert Young reported cost for both sides of Coins
would be 0, cost for 100 would be (including tax) and it would take 3 - 4 weeks to get them done.
MOTION by Brian Galloway, seconded by Stew Fisher
that Robert order 250 Coins without 2008 put on them - instead 1st Weekend in Februaryı on one side and Marmora Cup since 1979ı on other side.
