Present: Executive: Richard Lowery, Chair; Sue Korver, 1st Vice; Wilma Bush, Secretary; Barbara Fisher, Treasurer; Brian Galloway, Race Marshall. Committee - Norm Bradley, June Vilneff, Vera Wylie, Stew Fisher, Robert Young, Bob Drummond, Linda Roy, Jerry Roy (Gail Taylor arrived at 8 p.m.).
Regrets: John Langley, Bonnie Danes, John Solmes
The Chair welcomed the group.
Motion by Sue Korver, seconded by Brian Galloway
that minutes of November 10, 2006 be accepted as circulated with Amendment to Motion of that
date: Gail Taylor, seconded by Jerry Roy to have Brian Galloway check into possibility of joining the
Quad crown Series with cost up to $**. Carried
There will not be a Recreational Race this year.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
SPONSORS: June Vilneff presented a business card from ‘Johnny Roofer’ stating he wanted a full page ad and would sponsor - amount not known.
ADVERTISING
MOTION by Norm Bradley, seconded by Stew Fisher that ‘The Shield’ be the official newspaper
advertising Marmora Snofest’. Carried
June Vilneff said Mary Provost is willing to provide placemats - the changes for 2007 are needed.
GUEST - Bev VanAlstine spoke to the group stressing the information regarding the races needs to be on the web by October.
BANQUET - A speaker is still needed.
PRIZES - a letter is needed expressing appreciation for last year’s support and appreciation for any assistance with the 2007 Snofest.
ENVIRONMENT
MOTION by June Vilneff, seconded by Bob Drummond
that up to $** is available to hire a bus for the Environmental Tours.

MC Al Moorcroft (starting line announcer) will be assisted by Abby Brunton.
RAFFLE TICKETS - Vera Wylie said the tickets will be ready this week and urges each member to sell some. 1st Prize - Watercolour print by Julie Maynes; 2nd - $50 for two to attend Stirling Theatre; 3rd
- Two dinner tickets ($50) to The Platters, Stirling, donated by Northstar Refrigeration.
